Samsung did an excellent job on this one, from design, specs, performance, and battery life...but beware, you'll have Operating system problems, which will make you feel you paid so much money for no reason.

excellent computer with bad touchpad driver.

I have this computer, but the touchpad doesn't work when you press bottoms on key board. It is just because of samsung driver because first i reset the operating system, the problem is still here. Second i delete the keyboard driver ,the problem is still here.Third i delete samsung touchpad driver , i the problem is solved i can still use touchpad , but i lost samsung's features.Finally when i set up the samsung touchpad driver again which is latest version the problem happens again . i don't know what to do , i can not play shooting games.Samsung should provide suitable driver. i like samsung very much .And i use a lot of samsung products this is the only one that i don't like.

The best laptop I have ever tried. Boots in seconds, great display, light. Very good battery life, and love the quiteness of solidstate drive

Fails on the basic

This is a great notebook, but Samsung fails on basic stuff like support quality, software/driver settings available, keyboard and trackpad quality.

Excellent ultra book I ever use, the screen was great color and contrast, the speed was good, and it had nice design, the battery is great, but really need to be 500 GB memory

size, performance, mobility and design - The samsung Series 9 ultrabook has got everything. If you are looking to purchase a premium ultrabook, this series 9 latop is the latest model of its kind feturing windows 8 is the one to go with. I got this laptop on dec. 26 and its been serving me superbly.

First - this is a GREAT ultrabook. Light as a feather and fast. Great screen and long battery life. I researched just about everything out there and kept on coming back to the Series 9. I'm glad I did. Second - it takes some work getting familiar with Windows 8. Let's face facts. It's a touch screen OS. To get around this I'm avoiding the tile "grid" by using the Windows desktop. Samsung has thoughtfully included "Quick Starter" so those of us who like the old windows start button can just ignore the noise and get back to work.
