I listen to music on personal digital gear and after having listened to high priced ($100 to $200) sets of headphones on display at some local electronics retailers, I came across the Sennheiser Px-100 here at Beach. I did a little on line research, and decided to buy them. If only all my decisions were this good! The first surprise was the dynamic range with stellar highs and deep lows that rival anything I had sampled at 4 times the price. The second surprise is what I call spacial separation. The best way I can describe it is that the music environment seems much bigger to my senses, like going from listening to music in my car to music in a concert hall. Each instrument in a song has a distinct spacial footprint even to the point where I can follow the drummer moving from high hat to snare drum to mid toms to floor toms as if I were standing in front of the drums. The next surprise was the comfort. They are fully adjustable and very light weight. So far I have found no weaknesses and I feel these headphones more than satisfy my needs.

This is my third Sennheiser product. Certainly the best one amongst the three. Sound quality is very good, has a good bass and allows some ambient noise (which I prefer. I really like the carrying case since I have had issues with physical durability of Sennheiser head phones. The only con however is that my ears start to ache after prolonged use.

I used this to connect to my iPod Classic. It is very comfortable. The quality of sound is very good.

I use this at work full time. Be it Metallica or A R Rahman, the headphones are awesome :) The Bass is good. I didn't want a noise canceling headphone as I wanted to know if someone was calling me at work. These work best and for the price, you cannot go wrong.I only wish they came with an extension cord.
