I shopped and compared this product to others and read many reviews. I was pleased with the results. My old shredder needed replacing after 11 years and I wanted something that would protect me against Identity theft. It shreds credit cards and cd/dvd's and I like that it can shred up to 175 pages at a time hands free. I very pleased with its capabilities and use.

I have been using the Swingline Stack and Shred 175X shredder for a few weeks now and it is fantastic! The best part is that we can load documents and let them shred by themselves. In the past, one of our admin staff would spend hours each week shredding documents. With the auto feed shredding she can now spend time on more important tasks! I strongly recommend this shredder
