This is the best inking tablet ever, and I have them all. The resolution is great, tablet is speedy and speakers are very clear and realistic. If you want the best stylus experience , buy this device. I am truly impressed. Great feel and no lag. As good as the "artist" tabs at one third the price.

This Excite Write is amazing with regard to resolution, great speakers and it is quite fast. The best for me is the stylus, best ever, no lag, accurate, and a real feel; the pen is a perfect size too. Can really do great work on this, as I am an artist, and the handwriting recognition works very well too. Overall a superb "write" experience.

The tablet works... It freezes without reason, even if I'm not using it, seriously for this price?... I would have taken something else

I tried to charge my Excite Write tablet purchased in July 2013 using the Kensington PowerBolt 1-Port USB Auto Car Charger and Part Number: K39666AM and the Startech USB 2.0 Cable (USB A male and Micro USB B Male) Part No. UUSBHAUB3 as listed and recommended by Toshiba as the correct parts for car charging. The red light comes on when the Kensington charger is plugged in so it is powered up correctly. I have checked the cable connections are good but the tablet does not charge. I have tested the cable with a connection between my Toshiba laptop and the Excite Write tablet and I can transfer files and view my tablet file folders and files on my laptop so I know the cable is good, but the tablet will not charge. It charges fine with the AC charger. I have used the same charger and cable on my cellphone and they work so it is the tablet that will not charge.

I bought this tablet for my husband because I have the Toshiba Thrive. He says this tablet is fast. This tablet is light. The screen is durable. The Pen is remarkable, he now loves to take notes. The loaded apps are wonderful. Easy for the not so tech person to use. He said: It is the best Anniversary present I have ever given him!.
