Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
This is used as a second remote for an Olevia LCD TV. After buying the Olevia, I discovered that nearly no universal remotes work with Olevia. The URC R6 works with Olevia perfectly; and also supports Dish Network and my Zenith DVD/VCR so this is really a great find and a terrific value.
