3M™ Soft Edge Foam Masking Tape protects door jambs, hoods or any area of a vehicle that needs to be sealed while being painted. The foam tape provides a soft edge to prevent hard paint lines. The polyurethane foam structure tape is completely flexible so that it conforms to unique contours and is easily workable. This tape is available in multiple sizes to meet specific needs.

Ordinary flat masking tape can leave hard paint lines when used inside jambs, or must be rolled in order to create a soft edge.
