Norton R821 NorZon Plus Speed-Lok Abrasive Disc, Cloth Backing, TR, Zirconia Alumina, 2" Diameter, Grit 50 (Pack of 25)- TR discs have threaded central hubs that require two-and-a-half turns, and mount to Norton TR or 3M Roloc TR back up pads
- Zirconia alumina is self-sharpening and durable, allowing for a faster cut rate than aluminum oxide
- Cloth backing is stiffer, tougher, and thicker than a paper or film backing
- The dense placement of the abrasive grain in a closed-coat disc for a higher-quality finish than an open-coat disc
- Used with a molded rubber backing pad (sold separately)
- Superior Zirconia alumina grain promotes initial cut and actually self cuts with continued use
- Super hard phenolic resin bond system optimizes grain adhesion and extends product life
- Double laminated cloth discs get into hard-to-reach areas for the toughest jobs
- Speed-Lok TR system permits instant disc mounting and removal; when you are ready to change the disc, simply twist it off
