The OTC6637-5 Strut Tamer Safety Cage attaches to the 6637-ST Strut Tamer with stand, or behind 6637 Strut Tamer when wall-mounted, including previous Strut Tamer versions, adding an extra layer of protection when rebuilding shock-strut assemblies. Constructed of 1" structural steel tubing and expanded carbon steel mesh to minimize the energy impact of a broken or rapidly decompressing coil spring. Its open design allows for access to top and bottom of shock-strut assembly for easy removal and replacement of cartridge. Strut Tamer not included.
