It offers two USB 3.0 Type-A ports that support data transfer speeds up to 5Gbps. The USB-C digital AV multiport adapter is entirely USB bus powered and does not require a power supply to work. The HDMI 2.0 port on the USB C charging hub can support resolutions up to 3840x2160@60Hz and 1080p resolutions at 60Hz. For computers which support DisplayPort 1.4 (DP 1.4), such as the Microsoft Surface Laptop 3, the Surface Book 3, or the Surface Pro 7, this USB C multiport adapter supports 4K 60Hz.
