Compact 1kVA/750W/120V Battery Backup for Critical IT Installations
The BC1000RT1ULNC standby cloud-connected UPS system combines cloud connectivity, remote management and advanced protection features in a space-saving 1U rack-mount/tower design. Ideal for network closets, edge computing environments and remote installations, this UPS safeguards your vital IT equipment against blackouts, brownouts, overvoltages, surges and other power fluctuations, even in hard-to-reach or unmanned locations. Note: In addition to rack or tower installation, this UPS can also be wall mounted using the optional SRWALLBRKT2U/4U/6U (sold separately).
Easy-to-Use Cloud-Enabled Remote Monitoring Powered by Brightlayer
Eaton's cloud-based remote monitoring app offers convenient setup, control and management of a single UPS or a larger deployment. Scan the QR code on the UPS to download the app to your mobile device. Receive alerts, push configurations, silence alarms or control load banks using a mobile app or web browser. Being able to monitor and access multiple UPS systems from a remote location helps reduce the number of site visits, saving you time and money. The unit's NFC (near-field communication) feature lets you configure network settings instantly from your mobile device.
Allows Time to Back Up Critical Files During a Blackout
The BC1000RT1ULNC restarts automatically once power is restored, regardless of battery charge level, saving you a costly site visit. During short blackouts and brownouts, the BC1000RT1ULNC switches to battery power to keep connected equipment running. This allows you enough time to save data and complete a safe shutdown in case of a longer outage.
Lithium-Ion Batteries Designed for Long Life
The BC1000RT1ULNC is equipped with advanced lithium-ion battery technology, offering a service life of five years or more, which is at least twice as long as traditional lead-acid batteries. Not only does this reduce maintenance and replacement costs, but it also makes the UPS lighter, more efficient and ideal for deployments where reliability and longevity matter, such as retail locations, home/office setups and remote or hard-to-access IT environments.
NEMA 5-15R Outlets and Switchable Load Banks Protect Connected Components
Six 5-15R outlets provide battery backup and surge protection for your router, network switch, server and other electronic devices. Two main outlets remain continuously active whenever the UPS is operational, ensuring a reliable power supply to critical devices. Four outlets are split into two switchable load banks. Remote monitoring allows individual control of the banks, which can be powered on/off or cycled remotely, saving you an expensive and time-consuming on-site visit.
Communications Ports
An RJ45 port for Ethernet connectivity enables use of the cloud-based remote monitoring application. A USB-C port provides direct connection to the command line interface (CLI) for configuration and identification of local network parameters.
Intuitive LCD, Home-Friendly Alarm and Diagnostic LEDs Keep You Informed 24/7
The easy-to-read LCD and LEDs allow at-a-glance local monitoring of input voltage, load level, battery charge status, system faults and other vital information. A solid green LED means the battery is charged, a flashing green indicates it is charging and a solid red indicates fault. The home-friendly audible alarm indicates power outage, low-battery and fault conditions. It can be silenced via the LCD or the remote monitoring app, which will still respond to silenced alarms.
