RJ45 Cat6a Plug Designed for Field Installation in Above-Ceiling Applications This Cat6a RJ45 shielded plug simplifies the installation of devices in an above-ceiling application where installing a face plate isn't practical or where outlets, jacks and patch cords must be plenum rated. Modular Plug Terminated Link (MPTL) topology allows a Cat6a cable to be terminated to the N238-P01-MPTL-A plug, which then connects to a Type 3 or Type 4 PoE device, such as a WAP (Wireless Access Point) or surveillance camera.
