Avocent LV 3000 extenders let you place a keyboard, monitor, mouse, speakers and microphone up to 1,000 feet away from a computer or Avocent KVM switch.This greater distance allows separation of users from their computer/target devices. With devices consolidated and managed from a central location, you solve some common challenges such as protecting computers from hazardous work environments and protecting computers from accidental damage or theft.
The LV 3000 extender delivers VGA resolutions of 1920x1200, CD quality audio and extension of USB 2.0 up to 1000 feet. USB extension allows all USB compatible accessories (including isochronous devices) to be extended; this includes keyboard, monitor, mouse, disk drive, flash memory stick, webcam, and any other device that would normally be plugged into a computer USB port.
Additionally, the system has a unique auto-tuning feature that automatically compensates for both video skew and signal degradation over standard CATx cable, without compromising the user experience. The simple transmitter and receiver design assures ease of installation and simple deployment.
