The User Harness frees both hands by comfortably suspending the notebook inside a Exo-L Harness Ready case from your shoulders (not your neck). All four harness legs are fully adjustable so you can position your notebook right where you want it. When walking to the next location, close the notebook in the Exo-L Harness Ready case and it will pivot down to hang flush against your body. It is now out of the way but ready when needed- just open and flip it back up. It can even be swung around and carried more conventionally from one shoulder if preferred.
