The Ultragrove Retractable Truck Bed Cover from Pace Edwards is a low profile, flat black cover that looks great with the bed caps of any new truck. The reason it is called the Ultragroove is because they have tracks that run down each one of the rails that will allow you to mount multisport racks from Thule and Yakima which will allow you to haul things like bicycles and kayaks above the level of the cover. To open this tonneau cover you must first open the tailgate so if the tailgate is locked then the entire contents of the truck bed are more secure than what is locking inside the cab. Opening the cover is easy just open the tailgate and turn the knob on the driver's side and the cover will roll all the way up to the canister (make sure you hold the strap) and then pull on the strap and the strap will reengage the latches and the cover will lock in increments every 12 inches until it reaches the tailgate. The cover is sealed on all 4 sides and the rails work as gutters. It does an excellent job of keeping out water but is not waterproof. It has a padded polymer top and reinforced aluminum slats and installs easily and comes with a 3-year warranty.
