Pneumatic operation of the worktop means you'll get some assistance raising the top surface and it'll stay where you set it without slowly sliding back down on its own. After you've found your ideal height, put down your laptop computer, stow your bottle of water in the on-board plastic cup holder and get to work. Store small but critical office supplies or personal items like your cell phone on the lower shelf of the VUM while you focus on getting things done up top.
