By elevating the shock 2 inches above the factory position, we safeguard it from damage while enhancing clearance on this vulnerable suspension area; additionally, the bottom section of the mount can be trimmed for even more clearance. Note that these units need a 2-inch bump stop spacer, such as those found in our Transit 2-inch suspension lift kits or Quigley and Quad-Van conversions equipped with a 2-inch rear bumper spacer.
