The E-1600-20-IPEWP ADA and CE Compliant VoIP Emergency Phone is designed to provide quick and reliable handsfree emergency communication for SIP VoIP phone systems with PoE. The E-1600-20-IPEWP phone meets ADA requirements for elevator emergency phones / emergency telephones, and can be programmed from any touch tone phone, PC on the same LAN, or remotely using a static IP address. The Help button can dial up to 5 programmable emergency phone numbers, and the Info button can dial up to 5 programmable non-emergency numbers.

The E-1600-20-IPEWP phone can be programmed to automatically deliver a digital announcement to identify the location of the emergency phone call. Alternatively, a DTMF touch tone code may also be delivered. A "Call Connected" LED can be initiated manually or automatically. All programming parameters, including phone numbers and location numbers, are stored in non-volatile memory, requiring no batteries. All units are PoE powered.

The E-1600-20-IPEWP is equipped with Enhanced Weather Protection (EWP), ideal for outdoor installations where the unit is exposed to precipitation or condensation. EWP products feature foam rubber gaskets, sealed connections, gel-filled butt connectors, as well as urethane or thermal plastic potted circuit boards. For more information, see DOD 859.
