The stylish, high-quality brushed aluminum chassis features smart and quiet cooling fans, an efficient internal power supply, and a compact form-factor that is ideal for portable applications. The external 6Gb/s Mini-SAS port and eight removable hot-swap bays support any 2.5" or 3.5" Enterprise /NAS class SATA / SAS Hard Drive or SSD.


Customers have the freedom to use their choice of SAS or SATA storage device; SSDs for performance or large hard disks for maximum capacity, from all major drive brands including HGST, Seagate, Toshiba and WDC.
